October is the Month dedicated to the Holy Rosary and also to the Mission of the Church. Despite everything, we know how blessed we are to live in this part of the world. So let us count our blessings and pray for those who live in parts of the world crippled with great distress. We especially hold in our prayers all who serve as missionaries giving gospel solidarity to the poorest of the poor in the world. Together let us renew the mission entrusted to each one of us to share our faith and to pray as a family. In offering the few minutes for the daily rosary we simply, yet powerfully, use the blessed beads to meditate upon the mysteries of life and seek the intercession of Our Heavenly Mother. ‘We fly to Thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin’
