Unexpectedly at home. Pre-deceased by his parents Mock and May and his brother Noel. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Tommy, Ber, Trish, Ray and Frank, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore, on Wednesday from 4pm until Removal at 6pm to St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh, arriving at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am, followed by Burial after Mass in the adjoining New Cemetery.

Geraldine WATSON (née Fox) Ross Road, Screggan, Tullamore, Offaly, R35 W5F3 / Naas, Kildare
May 2, 2025

Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Pre-deceased by her father Billy. Geraldine will be sadly missed and always remembered by her loving husband Christy, daughter Emma, son David, son in law Cormac, David’s partner Orlaith, her adored grandchildren Liam and Saoirse, her mother Carmel, sisters Deirdre and Fiona, brothers Ray and William, brothers in law Michael, John and John, sisters in law Rose and Stephanie, aunts, uncles, cousins, niece Laura, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home on Sunday from 2pm until Rosary at 6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to St Colman’s Church, Mucklagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation Service after Mass in Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin at 2pm.

Thomas (Flayers) Delaney, Spollenstown, Tullamore formerly of Kyle, Kinnitty. Deeply missed by his heartbroken family, wife Caitríona, sons Milo and Mac Darragh, parents Liz and Martin, brother Ned, sisters Tina and Tracey, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Thomas will take place on Friday (April 25th) at 10am in St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh (R35 V045). A private cremation will take place afterwards.

Margaret (Rita) GLEESON (née O'Brien) Roscore, Blueball, Offaly / Rahan, Offaly
April 16, 2025

Margaret, who was fondly known as Rita, died on April 16th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, sisters, Mary Jo (Dunne), Kitty (Dempsey), and Bernie (Cunningham), and brother John.

Rita will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Clare (Ruffalo), Josie (Molloy), Martina (Molloy), Liam, Margaret (McDaid), Michéal and Martin, her 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brother Joe, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends

Rita will repose at Esker Rí Nursing Home on Holy Thursday (April 17th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Good Friday morning (April 18th) to St. Carthage’s Church, Killina, where her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11am and may be viewed on https://rahanparish.ie/.killina-webcam/   Interment afterwards in Rahan Cemetery.

Died 14th April 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his brothers Pat, Colman, Lar and Tommy-Joe, his sister Margaret. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Josephine and his adoring children Eileen, Gerard, Paul, Annie and Bernie and their partners Tony, Paddy and Teodora, grandchildren Max, Jo, Kit and Hannah, his brothers Michael and John, sisters Mary, Tess, Breda and Liz, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Reposing in Lawless’ Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village (R35 C5P6) on Wednesday evening 16th April 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning to arrive in St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh for Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining New Cemetery.

Reposing at Lawless’ Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village (R35 C5P6) on Thursday evening 27th March 2025 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by Removal to St. Colmans Church Mucklagh, ariiving 6:30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 28th March 2025 at 11:00 am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Old Cemetery, Mucklagh.
