Schools Closed As the school year draws to a close we say thanks to the teachers and staff of all our Catholic Schools in the parish for their dedicated, hard work over the past year ,in sharing their faith and their love with our children. Our teachers have to be commended for all that they do to inspire our children and form them in the values of the Gospel, just like Saints Peter and  Paul whose feast day  we celebrated earlier this week. We give thanks too for our hard working Boards of Managements, Parents Associations, School Secretaries , caretakers and S.N.A.’s A special thank you to Tony Murphy who retired recently after 20 years as caretaker in Scoil Carthage Naoife Rahan, A Prayer for the End of the School Year Dear God, We come to the end of this academic year with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of learning, the friendships that have grown, and the community we have shared. We thank You for the successes that brought us joy, and for the challenges that taught us resilience. Thank You for guiding our students, teachers, and parents through every busy day. As we step into the summer, we ask for Your peace and protection. Bless our time of rest and refreshment. Keep us safe in all our travels and activities, and let our time with family and friends leave us with memories to cherish. Help us to return with renewed energy and a fresh spirit, ready for whatever the future holds. In Your name, we pray. Amen. Giving Thanks For Summer Prayer Father, Creator of all, thank You for summer! Thank you for the warmth of the sun and the increased daylight. Thank You for the beauty I see all around me and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy Your creation Thank You for the increased time I have to be with my friends and family, and for the more casual pace of the summer season. Draw me closer to You this summer. Teach me how I can pray no matter where I am or what I am doing. Warm my soul with the awareness of Your presence and light my path with Your Word and Counsel. As I enjoy Your creation, create in me a pure heart and a hunger and a thirst for You. Amen
