St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh: Very Rev. J. Mooney and Father Sean Heaney undertook the erection of a beautiful modern church in Mucklagh which was completed and consecrated in 1979. The old church was demolished and the cemetery was extended. The new church was dedicated to St. Colman.
