The Baptism of our Lord is celebrated next weekend 11th/12th January . We ask God’s blessing on all children baptized in our parish in the past year. There were 58 of them. Their names are in the Crib with the Infant Child of Bethlehem. We ask God’s Blessing too on their parents, God parents, Grandparents and all family members .

Prayer for the newly baptised and their families: Lord, as we gather today, we ask your blessing on all newly baptised. Hold them in your arms and bless them. Shine your light on the path before them and let them always feel your loving presence as they travel along the paths of life. Lord, we ask your blessing on their parents, grandparents and godparents. May they guide them with their own example of your love and always be ready to listen and to comfort, to laugh and to play, to encourage and to praise. May they always show their children that they are special in their eyes and also in yours. Amen
