Date for Diaries As we had in past few years A Parish Novena to Our Lady of  Perpetual Help will be held on the 4 Tuesdays of February 3rd,10th,17th and 24th in Mucklagh church at 7.30pm with 4 visiting speakers. Lots of nice singing, prayers, readings and reflections .Please keep those Tuesday nights of February free  The Theme of the Novena will be that of Healing. Hope and Signs of New Life

Speaker on February 3rd will be Fr Je Campbell , Tullamore Theme Healing and Hope. As it is the feast of Saint Blaise we will have blessing of Throats at the end of ceremony

Speaker on February 10th will be Fr Vincent Sherlock who is Parish Priest of Tubbercurry-Cloonacool Parish in Co. Sligo and is a regular contributor to the Irish Catholic Newspaper

Speaker on February 17th will be Noeleen Lynam a member of the Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Synod Team and the Diocesan committee for liturgical Formation

Speaker on February 24th will be Fr Paddy Byrne the parish priest of Abbeyleix He writes for a number of media outlets. Including a weekly blog on portlaoise parish newsletter
