Jubilee of Youth  “Pilgrims of Hope” celebrating this Jubilee Year 2025 all roads are leading to Rome! Of course, not everyone can make the pilgrimage to Rome, so around the Diocese many parishes are undertaking local pilgrimages to Loughcrew and Clonard; Knock, Lough Derg and Croagh Patrick as a way to mark this significant year for us in the Catholic Church around the world. During this week from 28th July to 4th Aug, a group of 38 pilgrims along with Bishop Deenihan, will represent the Diocese as they participate in the Jubilee of Youth, which will culminate in the Jubilee Mass celebrated by Pope Leo XIV in Rome on Sun 3rd August. Please keep Fr. Mark English , who leads these young pilgrims on their journey, in your prayers as they join thousands from every corner of the world for this great witness of Hope in the Lord.
