Novena to the Sacred Heart started on Thursday 19th June and continues unti Friday 27th June.Feast of Sacred Heart For each day we will have a different theme at Mass.  Sunday 22nd Jesus heart — a heart of compassion for all.  Monday 23rd We ask God’s blessing on all our sick Tuesday 24th, We ask God’s blessing on all our exam students. Wednesday 25th We ask God’s blessing on all away from home. Thursday 26th We ask God’s blessing on all our bereaved. Friday 27th We ask God’s blessing on all our families, neighbours and friends  Novena Prayer: O Divine Jesus who said “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you. I kneel at Your feet. From whom shall I ask if not from You, whose Heart is the source of all blessings. O Divine Jesus, your Heart was moved by compassion for the men and women who came to You in need. You healed the sick, You forgave sinners, You are the way, the truth and the Life. O Divine Jesus your heart is still full of compassion for us today in our many needs.  Assured of Your love we turn to You and ask…(pause, here mention your request).  I admit I am most unworthy of Your favour, Jesus, but this is not a reason for me to be discouraged. You are the God of mercies and You will not refuse a contrite Heart. Look with pity on me, I beg You so that Your compassionate Heart will find in my weakness a motive for granting my request. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart pray for us.
