Bridget died on October 12th 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the loving care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. She was late of Tinnamuck, Tubber and was predeceased by her beloved parents Bridget and Edward Byrne, sisters Mary and Margaret and brother Larry. Bridget will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband Patrick and family, Sharon, Martina, Padraic, John, Geraldine, Lorraine, Hughie, Matthew, Ann Marie and Joseph, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Betty and Kathleen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bridget will repose at her home on Thursday (Oct. 15th) from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (Oct. 16th) to St. Patrick’s Church, The Island, Ballycumber (R35 A021), where her Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am and may be viewed on https://rahanparish.ie/the-island-webcam/ . A private cremation will take place later.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Marcus and Jerome, daughter-in-law Noelle, grandson Luke, brother Des (England), sister Angie (America), extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Lawless’ Funeral Home Mucklagh Village (R35 C5P6) on Tuesday evening 13th October 2026 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by Removal to St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh arriving 6:30 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Burial afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Mucklagh.
